Cartea asta m-a făcut să mă gândesc la toate femeile care trec prin infertilitate și nu vorbesc despre asta. Kristen e vocea lor, iar Josh e dovada că iubirea adevărată nu are condiții, doar curaj.

Cartea nu este neapărat despre Friendzone, ci mai mult despre propriile bariere pe care le punem ca să de protejăm.

Dacă ai un câine, o prietenă sarcastică și un tip care te face să vrei să fii mai bună, atunci ai trăit deja jumătate din carte. Cealaltă jumătate e despre curajul de a iubi chiar și când pare imposibil.

Kristen e genul de femeie care ar putea fi prietena mea, sau dușmana mea, depinzănd de zi. Dar e reală. Și Josh? Josh e bărbatul pe care îl vrei, dar nu-l meriți. Sau poate chiar îl meriți.

Entuziasmul pe care mi l-a transmis cartea a fost egalat doar de dramatismele unei telenovele turcești. Dozele de emoție sunt reglate perfect, iar uneori m-am simțit ca la un montaj cinematografic interior

Nu știu ce mi-a plăcut mai mult: chimia dintre personaje sau faptul că autoarea nu s-a ferit să vorbească despre lucruri grele. Infertilitatea, pierderea, frica de a fi vulnerabil. Totul e acolo, dar cu glume bune și replici care merită tatuate.
