'The Happy Ever After Playlist' nu este un clișeu romantic. Este despre timing, despre cât de complicată e reconstrucția emoțională, despre ce înseamnă „să dai voie” să fii fericit. Dincolo de replicile simpatice și câinele adorabil, avem profunzime.

Abby Jimenez reușește să construiască personaje feminine vulnerabile, dar autonome. Sloane nu este doar „tipa tristă care a pierdut pe cineva”, ci o femeie care luptă să-și regăsească sensul, și să accepte că poate exista o nouă iubire.

Tucker e genul de câine pe care ți-l imaginezi vorbind în GIF-uri. Jason? Genul de bărbat care știe să gătească, scrie melodii și nu e toxic. M-am simțit iubită prin proxy.

am început cartea pentru că aveam chef de o comedie romantică. ce am primit? o criză emoțională în trei acte, acompaniată de Spotify și niște flirturi atât de bine scrise că am dat ochii peste cap și m-am îndrăgostit și eu. e clar, Jason a ridicat ștacheta.
