Nu credeam că o carte fantasy mă va face să mă gândesc la destin, liber arbitru și sacrificiu. Dar Jordan m-a făcut. Și mi-a plăcut.

cartea e ca un labirint. te pierzi, te regăsești, și la final realizezi că ai crescut. rand e doar începutul. roata timpului abia se învârte.

cartea asta e ca un vin vechi. la început pare grea, dar pe măsură ce o savurezi, devine o experiență. și apoi te întrebi de ce nu ai citit-o mai devreme.

Dacă Tolkien ar fi avut o soră care scrie fantasy, ar fi fost Jordan. Lumea e vastă, personajele sunt vii, iar magia... oh, magia!

Am citit cartea în paralel cu serialul. Verdict: serialul e trailerul, cartea e filmul. Mult mai multă emoție, tensiune și profunzime. Plus: Lan e și mai badass în carte.

Mi-a luat 2 luni să termin cartea. Nu pentru că n-ar fi bună, ci pentru că mă opream să-mi imaginez fiecare scenă. Jordan scrie ca un pictor. Uneori prea detaliat, dar mereu fascinant
