Compar cu seria A Court of Thorns and Roses: aici simt un ritm mai alert, iar lumea e mai sumbră. Celaena nu primește tempo de balet, ci un dans cu săbii și trădări, iar eu prefer asta oricând unei romantici prea diafane.

Pentru mine, lectura s-a transformat într-un “mental movie”: covoare care ard sub picioare, sabii strălucind în soarele arzător, Rendezvous secret în catacombele orașului. Am revăzut în minte scene din seriale fantasy pe care nu le-am consumat niciodată și-am realizat că Sarah J. Maas scrie cu ochii unui regizor vizionar.

Structura acestui compendiu e gândită impecabil: fiecare nuvelă adaugă un strat nou de complexitate personajului principal și universului Throne of Glass. Ritmul narativ rămâne constant alert, iar balanța dintre momentele de acțiune și cele introspective e perfect calibrată.

Cea mai tare scenă: când Celaena descoperă planurile lui Arobynn și hotărăște să-și salveze prietenii, ai fi zis că urmărești un heist movie cu accente medievale. Recomand cu sufletul la gură!
