Am râs la replicile lui Owen, am suspinat la confesiunile lor și am tremurat în scenele de tensiune. O carte plină de viață.

Auburn nu e doar o protagonistă tipică. E puternică, dar nu invincibilă. Ambicioasă, dar nu egoistă. Și are un caracter pe care îl admir. O reprezentare fantastică a unei femei tinere care își găsește vocea.

Auburn e un personaj atât de uman, vulnerabilă, dar incredibil de puternică. Am iubit cum Hoover explorează tema vulnerabilității prin confesiunile anonime și arta lui Owen.
