Interesant de citit.
Experimentarea cu perspectiva alternantă m-a făcut să zâmbesc: un capitol te poartă în mintea lui Tyghan, altul într-o epistolă misterioasă trimisă de o mătușă necunoscută. L-am interpretat ca pe un puzzle al identității: adevărul despre părinți, secretele familei și promisiunile neonorate se împletesc într-un dans periculos de suspans și vindecare.

Personajele secundare strălucesc la fel de mult ca eroul principal – surorile lui Bristol au personalități distincte, de la sportiva încăpățânată la visătoarea melancolică. Contribuția fiecăreia e o notă muzicală perfect acordată.

ca fană a naratorilor în prima persoană, am savurat modul în care vocea Bristol devine tot mai hotărâtă odată cu fiecare pas în faerie. Dialogurile interioare sunt atât de vii încât auzit zbiară în mintea mea.

Personajele secundare – de la servitori la cavaleri fae – sunt nuanțate și interesante, astfel încât nimeni nu apare doar „ca fundal”.
